Michael's talk focuses on his life story as a transgender man. He recounts his journey from early childhood in South Africa, his family’s Aliya to Israel, attending a religious all-girls school, joining the Israeli army, and his difficulties, challenges, loves, and coping as a trans man in Israeli society. The talk promotes insight into gender identity, life values, and developing tolerance and recognition of other people while dislodging misconceptions and stereotypes.
Michael has a B.A. in Communication and Business Management from The Colman College of Management Academic Studies. In the past few years, he has been working in business development and sales field, helping digital marketing agencies and startups attract new clients and form strategic partnerships. Michael is a professional in the business development and automation field, with a particular focus on helping Israeli hi-tech companies reach new heights of success. He has decided to embark on a new journey as a digital nomad and offer his expertise as a consultant to early-stage startups in need of growth and development support. Michael volunteers as a Group Mentor for parents of transgender kids.
